BPT LAUNCHES XOLID VANDAL RESISTANT DOOR ENTRY PANEL
BPT Security Systems (UK) Ltd. – a specialist in door entry, access control and gate automation – has launched the Xolid vandal resistant door entry panel range which is the first flat plate, stainless steel, illuminated, modular design on the market today.
Designed for use with any of the BPT video monitors or audio handsets, this flexible and aesthetically appealing entry panel is available off the shelf in a modular format. Because it has interchangeable button labels, which can be personalised, engraving is not necessary.
The modular units are similar to building blocks and can be arranged to build any configuration of either surface or flush mount panel to suit a variety of installations. Modules available include audio, audio / video, audio with 2 buttons, 1, 2, 3, 4 6, 8 call buttons, access control (keypad or proximity), blind modules and information modules. Such a design allows Xolid to be used across a wide range of applications and allows for maximum flexibility.

BPT LAUNCHES NEW BOLLARDS & BARRIERS BROCHURE
BPT Security Systems (UK) Ltd. – the total access solution provider – has introduced a new brochure detailing its full range of electro hydraulically operated bollards and new Bayt 980 barrier. Designed and manufactured by Italian company Fadini to the highest standards for BPT, these bollards and barriers are suitable for widespread use in both the public and private sectors.
Rising bollards are a cost-effective and convenient way to secure premises, prevent ram raids, restrict vehicle access and prevent unauthorised parking and vehicle theft. Bollards detailed in the new BPT brochure include Coral, Vigilo and Strabuc.
Coral and Vigilo come in 100 and 200mm diameters and 510 and 810mm heights and are available for use in both low and high frequency applications. The standard bollards come with self contained hydraulic pump and piston assembly for easy installation, with no special adjusting or calibration required, plus manual override in the event of power failure.
BPT’s Strabuc 918 is a tough, fully retractable all-in-one rising bollard, with a post diameter of 275mm and 4mm wall thickness; it rises to a height of 700mm. The Armoured option has a wall thickness of 12mm. A one-piece assembly, Strabuc need only be sunk into the ground and cabled back to the control board. It comes complete with integrated warning lights for when the post is in action and vehicle sensing loops can be included to prevent the bollard rising when a car is over it. Strabuc can be operated as a stand-alone unit or can be connected with other bollards to rise and lower in co-ordination and can be operated from a wide range of controls.
Although not designed to prevent a determined trespasser, the presence of a physical barrier is often enough to deter the opportunistic intruder in a vehicle. The Bayt 980 is ideal for just such use and is detailed in the new BPT brochure.
The Bayt 980 is a hydraulic rising barrier for high use applications which has been newly engineered for even smoother operation and an even greater extended life . Very durable, all the drive and control equipment is housed in a weatherproof cabinet, which supports the aluminium barrier arm. The Bayt is available with or without skirts and in beam lengths from 2.1m to 8.5m.
All BPT bollards and barriers are available in any RAL colour to complement their surroundings and can be integrated with Impro access control systems – also available from BPT - for total control and visibility of vehicle and personnel movement.
